WHY IT MATTERS
ATHLETICS MAY BE PART OF THEIR STORY. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THEIR ENTIRE STORY.
Not every student-athlete will play professionally. Some will play in college. Some will stop competing after high school. Some will face an injury that changes their path. Others will build careers completely outside athletics.
An injury, graduation or final season should not leave a young person wondering who they are without the game. Beyond the Game explores the education, careers, opportunities and people helping scholar-athletes prepare for whatever comes next.
Because SASN is interested in more than how an athlete performs. We are interested in who they become.
